4 months agoMaybe the experience for those who dine in is different but for takeaway, there is little to be desired. I ordered via app and noticed that the wrong address was auto populated by the app. I rang them up and they picked up but each time they just picked up but never spoke a word. Instead they treated me to loud thumps of items banging against each other and people talking in the background. I texted and they still ignored me. Eventually I was left without food as the order was never delivered to me obviously. Why have a phone number if you want speak to customers? First experience, terrible!

a year agoNigerian corner store with a food counter cooked by mom. Home cooked. Don't bother going to the fancy food halls if your around this neighborhood.

a year agoOrdered on Uber Eats despite just 3 stars but don’t be thrown off! The most authentic Okra soup I’ve had since living in Nigeria, prices were good too. Looking forward to my next order already :)

2 years agoAuthentic and original style African and Caribbean food,drinks,snacks and treats all the hard things to find in usual shops are here on this really cool place check out a patte or a malt drink and much more original foods and drinks from our childhoods …. First really good place I have found outside my kitchen 😂

2 years agoWhat a wonderful family run business! The restaurant itself was bright and airy but the smells coming from here was what made me stop! Not a lot of places that you can get jollof in Liverpool but this place is deffo the place to go ♡ I got peri peri wings with mine and my partner got the stewed chicken. 😋 The mocktails are really good too. I had the blood orange one and my partner had the apple mint and they were soo good! Very sweet and refreshing. Made a new regular here, I tell ya!

2 years agoI have been dying to try authentic Jollof rice and African cuisine for so long, so when these lovely people opened up round the corner, we went along. And omg am I glad we did, the food from here is amaaaaazing and I think we will be working our way through the menu. Absolutely deserve a full 5 stars all around !

2 years agoI love to try food from all over the world, so I was so excited to hear an African restaurant was opening right on my doorstep. The people running it are very kind and lovely to be around, and the food matched that! I had the boneless chicken with jollof rice, and it was so tasty! I will definitely be back. It was also very filling, it’s perfect for lunch! If I could give more stars I would!
