Fantastic restaurant, I had the beef burnt ends and coleslaw and both were fantastic! The protein was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of smoke letting the beef flavor not get overwhelmed. My dining partner is a vegetarian and had the sandwich which was very good according to them.
Went to try their special for Burger Week. The Smoked Pit Beef Sandwich was tasty. I plan on coming back for pulled pork. I did try their summer slaw and it was just ok. The counter staff were very welcoming and patient in their descriptions of the menu items. Being a diabetic, I wish there were more drink options available. They use a stocked cooler for the drinks in bottles ( including water). Plenty of napkins available. Good parking. Easy to locate. The fire is right outside the side door. Bathroom was clean.
