See All ReviewsI recently ordered a Chicken Fry Biryani from this place, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. After driving 25 minutes, based on some positive reviews, I was expecting a flavorful and satisfying meal. However, I received the wrong order, and the biryani was overly salty. It was nothing like what I had paid for, and the taste was far from what I had hoped for. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I won’t be returning.
Had a wonderful dining experience here! The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious—it brought back fond memories of my time in India. I also learned that they recently moved to this new location right next to their previous one, and I must say, the ambience is fantastic. The attention to detail in both the food and the atmosphere truly sets this place apart. I will definitely be returning!
Nawab's is a local hidden gem. This no-frills restaurant offers two things: good food and very friendly service. If you're looking for a fancy dining experience: look elsewhere. If you're looking for food that goes toe-to-toe with well-known and highly rated South Asian restaurants in the Houston area, you've found your spot. I've been here twice and felt pleased with my meals both times. The portions are massive and the prices are very reasonable. One biryani can easily feed three people. The Chicken 65 strikes the right balance between being spicy and flavorful. And you can't skip the flaky, buttery garlic naan. If you switch things up and try the egg masala, you won't feel disappointed. I'd return to Nawab's.
