See All ReviewsWe were there to experience Typical Nepalese taste but the food we chose Mutton Tash, its a garbage only taste bitter and ginger very very poor quality, Momo was okay but the Sesame Soup was nice. The carrots sliced they served had “ wrinkled “ easily can guess that was sitting in cool room for ages. The Sekuwaa set, and Mutton Tash portions were very small, and not worth for the price. For sure won’t go back again for this quality of foods👎👎
On Sunday, my family and I visited this restaurant for dinner to try some Nepali food. We ordered Chatpate, Momo, and Spicy Timur Chicken. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The Chatpate was the least authentic version I’ve had in Sydney. It contained only a few pieces of onion and tomato, despite my request for it to be spicy. There were no fresh ingredients typically found in Chatpate, such as cucumber, carrots, coriander, peanuts, or green chillies. It seemed to be mostly Chatpate masala with very little effort put into the preparation. The presentation was also quite unappealing. The Momo lacked flavour and tasted very bland. I struggled to eat it. As for the Spicy Timur Chicken, it was the most enjoyable dish of the three, but it didn’t have the distinctive timur flavour or spice level that the name suggests. We drove nearly an hour to visit, hoping for an authentic Nepali dining experience. Sadly, the food did not meet our expectations, and it left us reluctant to return. I genuinely hope the restaurant can improve the taste, presentation, and consistency of its dishes, and put more focus on delivering the authentic flavours that customers expect from Nepali cuisine.
We ordered Steamed Chicken Momo and Chowmien. Both are really good. Definitely one of the best Momo and Chowmien place everyone should try! Next time we want yo try chatpate as it also look really good when we saw being served to other customers.
