a month agoI was staying in Sayre, PA for work. I looked for a Chinese take-out restaurant near me. There were 2 buffet restaurants and 1 take-out. The reviews all looked pretty solid for New Kam Bo, so I have it a shot. I was not disappointed. My goto meal is General Tso's combo meal with a shrimp egg roll. The reviews all said that the portions were large and the weren't kidding. I think my meal would've fed 2 or 3 people. I fell terrible because I ended up throwing half of it away because It was my last day staying in a hotel and wouldn't be able to refrigerate it for 10 hours at work. The food was delicious and I would go again.

Edited a month agoWe bought sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, beef with broccoli, chicken with broccoli, and roast pork lo mein, (all from the lunch special menu, before 3pm) oh, and egg rolls for a family dinner at home. Very large portions (each lunch portion was good for 2 people) , and maybe the best chinese take out we have ever had. Prices were good, and service was excellent. And it was clean looking, not a dive. I often feel like chinese food has too much salt in it, and i wake up the next mornimg with swollen fingers, but not after eating here. I think they must use much less salt. Wonderful.

2 months agoUse to be one of my favorite places to come but the past few months the chicken has been very hard like barley chewable other then that the taste is still good I think they have there oil to hot or there cooking it too long

4 months agoWHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT New Kambo..thats easy..Quintessential Chinese Food. Done perfectly! Large Flavorful freshly prepared dishes...Their Egg Rolls are second to none! Highly recommend

6 months agoI bought the new kambo chicken, dinner special. It was massive! A lot of rice and chicken for 13.00 (after tax)

9 months ago1st time here very impressed with the service and the food. Order take-out on a whim and couldn't be more pleased. The Black pepper Chicken is what I order and the wife and daughter both got the Sweet and Sour Chicken. Huge portions and very tasty food. Would highly recommend for take-out.

Edited a year agoJust placed a $60 takeout order, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The person taking the order over the phone was helpful, attentive, and patient while I detailed exactly what I wanted. The order included a large extra-spicy Szechuan chicken with mostly broccoli, an extra-large General Tso's chicken with a side of extra sauce, a large serving of steamed vegetables, and four spring rolls. The portions were incredibly generous and exceeded my expectations. The flavors were spot on, surpassing anything I’ve had at the other two Chinese buffets in the area. If you’re in Sayre or the surrounding "Valley," I highly recommend New Kam Bo for fantastic Chinese cuisine—you won’t be disappointed!

Edited 2 years agoMe and my Wife ate in, Everything was amazing! Huge portions! The place was clean, the food was hot and fresh delivered to the table, great selection, definitely will be back. I have never had cheese wontons but my wife used to get them and they were amazing. Hand made in store, I prefer the spicy mustard with them over the red sauce they come with. Lots of fresh vegetables in the hot and sour soup.
