See All ReviewsThere were at least 10 people waiting for the doors to open. This made me think the food would be good. I was not disappointed. The quality is typical of a mass produced buffet, but the flavor was excellent. I tried at least a bite from everything offered. The only disappointment was the fried rice. It was a little too dry. If you are in the mood for Chinese food, give this place a try.
Tin Tin Buffet in Medford is a decent option, especially if you’re looking for a budget-friendly buffet. The seafood selection is a bit limited, and during our visit some food pans were empty. We also noticed that a few plates weren’t as clean as expected, which could definitely be improved. That said, the food itself tasted good and was flavorful, and the price is much cheaper compared to other buffet restaurants in the area. Overall, it’s a good value for the money, just with some room for improvement.
I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, it used to be amazing and always busy. I don’t know what happened, new owners? New management? Whatever’s going on is going to get them shut down. We ate here a year ago and got violently sick within a day, thought maybe it was a fluke but steered clear until this week when we decided to give it another try. Nobody was in there and I see why now. All the fish we tried tasted rancid, the sushi was sour and even the rice was old and dry. Their coconut shrimp was hard as a rock from sitting under the lamps for however long and I nearly broke a tooth trying to eat a potato wedge that turned into a hockey puck. Once again within a day we are SICK. Vomiting and diarrhea SICK along with my 1 year old son who only ate the chow mein and some rock hard potatoes. I’m hoping a good scare from the health department will get their attention to stop serving rotten food to customers but maybe being shut down is what’s needed in the long run. It’s a tragedy because they used to be a really great restaurant.
