#1 Veteran Discount I have been to NYC Delis, they do a great job here... my wife had chicken vegetable soup, I had Pastrami and Navy Bean soup. I went straight for the heart to test them... Liverwurst or Bratwurst on Rye. My bride had the chicken breast deli sandwich. I came here after seeing the owner (John) on KRGVs take 5. It was worth the trip. They have comfortable seating for 56 people. Great to go menu. They get fresh Lox delivered Tuesday mornings for Lox and Bagels. We will need to come back to try the rest of the menu...
5 stars for the service both young ladies were very friendly but $28 for a sandwich, 1/2 basket fries and almost spoiled sweet tea...was just not a great impression for me...The food was good but very minimal..2 pcs pepperoni, 1 PC salami and some ham on a French roll...I really dont mind paying for great food but I could of went anywhere else for almost $30 for that. The table behind me ordered fries after her meal and she received a full basket of fries and we both were paying the same price...The sweet tea was made yesterday or the day before it had a light sour bitter taste I wish restaurants would realize sweet tea only last so long even in the fridge and when you love sweet tea sour tea is the worst..Thank goodness the two young ladies were so friendly there because with those prices and spoiled tea I just won't go back. Take extra money when you go there you will need it.
Great food and friendly staff. Food came out very quickly and was very delicious. The Philly and club sandwiches are amazing but it was the potato salad that did it for me. Highly recommend this place!
