Best burgers ever and my grandson loved the chicken wrap. Both waitresses were excellent and the place was very clean. Will definitely go back again.
I’ve stopped in there three times over the past year during Owosso downtown events to get a to go drink. The male bartender who I have since found out is also the owner is very rude. Most recently my husband and I and our adult daughter went in waited a long time to be waited on so we sat at barstools. when he finally came over to us and I said I wanted drinks to go he said “you gonna sit at the bar or you want drinks to go?” I said we would like to sit at the bar while we wait for our drinks. My husband and I both ordered drinks - no lids available for our plastic to go cups. my adult daughter asked for a water and he said we very rudely we don’t give water to go. I would rather walk to Sideline then go to niche again. Adding more comments based on the owners response. I said three times over the past year not that that’s the only times we’ve been there. Also, no you weren’t busy at all that night which is why it’s even more disappointing how rude you were. Even your response here is not what I would expect if you’re trying to keep customers.
Food was delicious. Only complaint is that it took awhile to get to the table.
Our server save the day with an apology for the level of service. The food is excellent, but, they need more servers. Second time here 1/13/25. Kenzie is a great host/server/bartender. Food was incredible. Pulled pork tacos were “on point”
I can honestly say I agree with a couple of the reviews, I don't usually do this but I feel like this time it is needed. We took my parents from out of town last weekend, our waitress/bartender was so rude, she even looked at us like she didn't want to be there. There was nobody in the whole place but our table and another group of 4, once we placed our drink order and she brought the drinks back to the table for some reason she was targeting my mother, she wouldn't even look at her. Super uncomfortable right!?!?!?!? We thought so too.... Finally ordered our food, no silverware, matter of fact nobody at our table would even ask her for some because she was so nasty, so thankfully it was mostly finger foods, fries, burgers and a wrap and thankfully I had napkins in my purse because I think she may be coming out of pocket for them and felt the need to hoard them behind the bar. She is lucky my husband is nicer than me because he did tip her. Which yes I think even bad servers deserve a tip, sometimes that may brighten their day. I think it will be some time before we go back, I used to enjoy this location but after this time I think we will be taking a break. This place could defiantly use better management.
Prices are fair! Pizza was bomb , 7/10 on the pizza. (Margarita pizza) Walked in took about 15 mins for someone to finally take our drink order, 30 mins later someone took our food order, 40 mins later our food came out. Seems like not one server actually works on a Friday night. Tables were dirty when we self seated our selves. No napkins given with the food and of course no one came by so we could ask for some. About 10 mins later someone finally brought us some silverware and napkins. Once we were done with our food it took a long time to then get boxes and bill. Ran out of beer to drink while waiting for a server. Overall this place seems to be a bar not a restaurant. Hard to run a business without the workers I suppose. I love supporting businesses but hard to come back being a new customer when experiencing this kinda of service.
This is a pretty happening place! The bar itself isn’t overly big, it’s a really nice size actually. The inside is decorated pretty cool. I like the old brick look. This seems like a good place for any age group. There were a lot of families with little ones and a lot of twenty something’s right up to 60’s. Service was fine, bartender was all business, but it seemed pretty busy with people coming and going steadily. The food was ok. I thought my burger was tough and hubbs felt the same way about his. Glad we tried it. I think it the name fits the bar well.
The Niche is a Modern Bar/Lounge with a variety of fine liquors, 8 premium craft beers on tap, fresh prepared food and all served in a restored 1850s brick building. The vibe is cool casual. Prices are reasonable. Trendy yet Old School. I Love The Place and The Food.
