See All ReviewsWe use to go there every Sunday after church service. The last 2 times made our decision not to go back. The ham looked like a real thin slice of Spam meat, not the chunk of ham use to getting (old owners). The next week ordered the sausage patties, which surprised me that they would even dare to serve to the customer, looked like shriveled, burnt meat. Thankfully our waitress saw it and offered to graciously remove it from our bill. That was the last time (Mother's day) we were there and the last time we would ever go back! The only good thing about Nicky and Smitty's are the waitresses, the owners should be grateful that they are sticking it out!
One star is too much. Went there this morning, 4/11, for breakfast. 2 adults and 1 child. Server said there's a line and it's probably not a good thing. Saw people sitting at 2 tops with no food and probably no service. We left for better service elsewhere. Heard you are under new ownership. You better figure out something soon because when Meijer opens May 6th it's going to be a busy area. It's sink or swim time and judging by today you will be sinking fast.
Waffle was delicious and crispy, home fries were good and the vegetable omelette was good just would have liked it a little cooked more. Overall, great and will be back!
