See All ReviewsLocated in the heart of Batam's bustling city center, the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, offering a variety of Indonesian dishes, offering a wide selection. It's a great place to visit with friends, family, and business associates. The taste is quite adequate, though it could be improved to further tantalize customers.
Decided to check out Noesantara Restaurant based on a friend’s recommendation. We arrived around 7–8pm, and surprisingly, the place was empty while the restaurant across the street was quite busy. We were a bit hesitant at first, wondering if the lack of crowd reflected the food quality—but we’re really glad we stayed. The staff greeted us warmly, and shortly after ordering, our drinks arrived. We tried the Hydro Orange—a refreshing mix of iced coconut water and tangerine. It’s not something you commonly find elsewhere and is likely their signature drink. Perfectly balanced, not too sweet or sour—we highly recommend it. When the food arrived, we were impressed. It turned out to be some of the best Indonesian food we had during our few days in Batam. The Nasi Petani is a must-try—beautifully presented on a tray with rice served in a small basket, along with chicken, tapioca, and vegetables on the side. Other dishes we ordered, including ayam bumbu rujak and gado-gado, were equally delicious and not overly spicy. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience. Don’t be put off by how quiet it may look—this place is definitely worth a visit if you’re in Batam
Had a really great experience here! The service was excellent — the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. The environment is very clean, cozy, and comfortable, which made the whole dining experience even better. As for the food — absolutely delicious! The dishes are authentic Indonesian cuisine, full of rich flavors and unique spices. You can really taste the traditional essence in every bite. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking to try genuine Indonesian food in a pleasant and welcoming setting. Will definitely come back again!
