See All ReviewsBeing from out of town, I stopped here for the first time at 1:30pm on my way back to the airport. I was on the only patron at the time and everyone was very friendly and I was given a sample of one of the meats of which I was unfamiliar. It was delicious and one of the featured meats on the #2 Jenny sandwich. I made the “mistake” of ordering the large Jenny. They prepared the sandwich with so much meat my eyes got wide! Seriously, the half size would have been enough, but I had plenty of time to finish this delicious sandwich and I knew I wouldn’t be eating on the plane. I would definitely recommend stopping here and forget about the negative reviews. Know that all food is made for takeout as there are no tables or restrooms available. I took my sandwich and ate at the airport where there were no open tables either, other than those in the restaurants. A very satisfied FL customer!
Coming from years of eating top quality NY subs and Philly hoagies, I was surprised at how good it was. They ran out of the seeded roll (I always like seeded over non-seeded) so I was a little disappointed until I ate it. One of the best Italian hoagies I’ve had. It measures up to the classic spots back east. Legit
Excellent hoagies! When visiting the Harrisburg area, you can now add Nonnie’s to the list of noteworthy shops, up there on the same level as the Jackson House and Hoageez!! Great staff and prompt service. We tried the Old School Italian (#1) and Jenny’s Special (#2). Both were amazing. And yes, the rolls are some of the best I’ve had west of Philly and Jersey. Highly recommend this shop!!
