Had a cheeseburger, really good. Service was great, wait time was short, no complaints. Fries were just alright, but they were still good enough. Burger and fries with a drink for $13, I can't complain.
One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Super friendly ladies, someone's grandma was napping behind the counter. Tamales 10/10 as well. Just amazing. You gotta stop.
The employees are always super nice and the burgers are top shelf. If you’re nearby stop and check them out.
I use to eat here when I lived in the area and enjoyed the food. Decided to stop by while traveling and get a burger. I got a double meat bacon cheese burger 9.99, onion rings 3.50, tea 1.99, and two brownies 2.49 each. Total 22.15. All my protein was over cooked pretty bad. And I ended up throwing the brownie away. The tea wasn’t that great either.
Some of the best burgers we had. Grilled fresh to order. Not a ton of seating. Good food. Nice people. A perfect place to support the locals.
Grest local grocery store and the ladies at the grill cook a good steak.
I have no idea how this place has been rated so highly! We stopped here to eat after a 2 hour drive from Dallas. First off, staff was not friendly when we ordered. We as in myself, husband,my inlaws. The meat had been sitting out at room temp. The lady taking the order was smoking a cig. Gross!! She wasn't the only one...the woman handling the food wasn't wearing gloves, after putting her cig out she grabbed a handful of frozen chicken tenders (my daughters meal)and tossed them in the fryer. My father in law asked for a side of ranch and ketchup and she barked "that's .60 cents." He's 74... While waiting for our food on the bench table out front I happened to look through the window into the store and there's a ton of empty cig boxes, trash, dust and God knows what between the glass and the counter. I'm surprised no one's called the health department!
After several recommendations by neighbors we finally decided to try the burgers at Noonday Store. What a treat! Hamburgers and cheeseburgers made the way you want and taste the way they're supposed to. Although they're basically the same, there's a subtle but pleasant difference from all the franchise burgers. It could be because they don't use any "special sauce", but we think it's the freshness of the meat - they grind and make the patties themselves. Whatever it is, we rated these burgers the best in Tyler.
