My favorite Caribbean restaurant! I love the sorrell martini. It's so delicious and unique. The doubles were good to try. The jerk wings and rum ice cream are always my favorite. The chicken curry is great. The chicken Pelau was pretty good. It had a great flavor. I enjoy the appetizers more than the entrees.
A few of us came about 30 mins before closing time and the owner was really kind to let us eat even though the kitchen was about to close. We had their tacos made with oxtail and jerk chicken. And they were absolutely amazing. It was a different kind of bread and all the sauce on it made it really tasty. We also had their jerk chicken curry and when you have it with their own pepper sauce, it makes it tastier. Overall, really great customer service and experience. Would definitely stop by again.
The food here is always amazing and everyone who works here is so nice it’s unreal. I love the jerk chicken and the beef patties. Today when I grabbed my food they accidentally gave me a wrong order and the kitchen staff guy ran out in the rain to my car on the road to wave me down and get me the right food! It was really awesome of him to do that and I really appreciate it. For sure one of my favorite restaurants in Detroit, can’t recommend it enough!
