The food was great, beyond my expectation. Don't trust me though, I haven't had Malaysian food for a long time and I truly missed it. The seats were pretty cosy, but luckily, the customers were rather quiet. I might be the noisiest. One needs to assure bringing enough cash since it only accepts cash.
Delicious food! Although The chicken curry nasi lemak was too spicy and oily. They forgot the egg and we just gobbled it down only realised it after. Char kuay teow was lacking wok hei and taste, but helpful there was the soy sauce condiment. The portions were massive and it’s worth it. Would still come again to try other dishes !
We had a fantastic experience at Number One Kopitiam. The food was genuinely great, proper, authentic Malaysian flavours that reminded us of home. The customer service was absolutely faultless; everyone was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. We also managed to try the ice kacang, and it was honestly to die for. A perfect finish to a lovely meal. It was very impressive as the Kopitiam has managed to replicate Malaysian flavours. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for real Malaysian comfort food and excellent service.
