I’m going spread the news!! If you havnt been to Sharon yet to try the BBQ shack you have missed out!! Downtown Sharon! My hubby, Alan Declares it’s worth the drive which to us it’s nearly in the backyard. The BBQ ain’t drowning in sauce to make it moist & no grisly mess. Perfectly old fashion with no vinegar taste just good moist meat!! The stew is wonderful!! Alan approved. The potato salad, beans both homemade fresh as is the bananas pudding. The chicken is GREAT! Not washed in sauce. Slightly blackened but moist and fresh. The place is spotless Clean!! Well appointed and the owners are the nicest people. I think she said Julia and Larry Wood. Run don’t walk - tell them the lady in the black Yaris sent me. Lol.
Vinegar based sauce and melt in your mouth barbecue! Hash is kind of iffy, but the barbecue is delicious.And the potato salad was good.
First time here and I will definitely be back. I had the bbq and Brunswick stew and it was truly outstanding. Also the sauces (hot and mild) were equally fantastic. The staff were exceptionally nice and the restaurant was very clean. They have a drive thru window and plenty of space to eat inside, and plenty of parking. If you’re in this area at all do not pass this place up. I was told by the staff here at the campground that her banana pudding was just as good as the bbq.
