The stone bun bo was a nice touch. Flavorful and rich. Recommend ordering the short ribs as well. Pairs really well with the bun bo. The stone bowl preserves the heat so your soup is hot from start to finish Hopefully we can come back soon to try other dishes!!
When people think of Vietnamese food, they usually think phở or bún bò huế. But the real hidden gems are here: bánh bèo, bánh nậm, chả huế, bánh bột lọc, and more. I highly recommend getting the combo platter so you can try a little bit of everything. The fish sauce that comes with it is seriously perfect. The place gets super busy, but that’s because it’s family-run and the food tastes like legit homemade Vietnamese food. Definitely coming back.
The pho here is easily some of the best in Houston. The standout feature is the stone bowl concept — it keeps the broth hot throughout the meal and adds a unique, comforting touch. At around $15 a bowl, the portion is generous and satisfying. The meat is tender, the veggies are crisp and fresh, and the broth is flavorful without being too heavy. Service is fine — not exceptional, but this isn’t the kind of place where you come for top-tier hospitality. The atmosphere is fairly basic, nothing fancy or cozy, but it gets the job done. Bottom line: Come here for the pho. It’s worth it. Just don’t expect a high-end dining experience — this spot is all about the bowl.
