Customer service was friendly and courteous. Ordered Rib dinner with cabbage and yams with cornbread muffins, also had Mac and cheese. The food was delicious and I would recommend giving them a try. There is no seating, carry out only.
Since I saw more positive reviews than negative...I decided to Door Dash some food. I ordered the pork chops (I didn't ask for gravy nor did the description say anything about gravy). It's misleading for them to call it a dinner when you have to pay for your sides separately. I ordered greens, mac n cheese and yams. The greens are bomb, the yams are bomb. The mac-n-cheese is dry. But overall, I am satisfied. Only gave three stars due to whoever did the order gave me smothered pork chops and the mac n cheese was just okay.
Ok. I want to start off with saying the service is amazing and the atmosphere reminded me of Sunday dinner at my grandma house because when I went there it’s like the entire family was in the back. I spent about $38.00 I ordered the smothered chicken with cabbage and dressing. And a side of smothered porkchop and a side of mac. Being from the south I k ow Soulfood. And this food was not good to me. The cabbage had no green. It was all white, the dressing was like cornbread (in which it was the same as the cornbread muffins). The Mac was pretty but it tasted burnt. And my pork chops weren’t smothered. When I got home I called multiple times to tell them that my pork chops weren’t right but got no answer. I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant and the service. But the food was a big no for me.
