See All ReviewsThis is an AYCE hotpot that is pretty similar to other AYCE hotpot restaurants. They have self serve seafood and some cooked food like fried rice and noodles, and for meat you can order five items at a time. The quality is quite good, and they offer unlimited wagyu, which is why my brother really likes this place compared to other AYCE hotpot spots since the quality is higher. It was $37 per person when I went in January 2026, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Note on dipping sauce: I would not recommend adding the peanut sauce. Be careful because there are two sauces that look similar, and you should pick the one with a lighter brownish tone. I might be remembering it wrong, but you can do a quick taste test since the peanut sauce tastes really bad. Other than that, just mix everything else together and you should be good.
This spot is fantastic for all you can eat Shabu Shabu. The beef was especially high quality and very tasty. The lamb had a bit more fat than I expected, but still enjoyable. The salad bar offers a great variety of seafood, vegetables, and appetizers. Service is quick, and the robot delivery adds a fun touch. Overall a five star experience.
Oishi Shabu Shabu in Irvine is a great spot when you’re craving a comforting hot pot experience with plenty of choices. They offer a wide variety of meats and other proteins, so it’s easy to customize your meal exactly the way you like it. The broths are flavorful without feeling too heavy, and there’s something for everyone, whether you prefer something rich and savory or lighter and more refreshing. One of the things that really sets Oishi apart is how fun the atmosphere is, especially for families. They use a few robot servers to bring items to the table, and it adds a playful touch that kids absolutely love. It keeps the experience entertaining while still being efficient and well-run. Overall, Oishi Shabu Shabu is a solid choice for anyone looking for a casual, enjoyable meal with good food and a bit of novelty. Whether you’re going with kids, friends, or just stopping by for a comforting solo dinner, it’s an easy place to enjoy fresh ingredients, good flavors, and a laid-back vibe that makes you want to come back.
