Wow, great dinner! Stopped on a whim and found a jewel. Shrimp scampi was very good and my husband enjoyed the fried oysters. A side of hush puppies is a must. Order at the outdoor window and outdoor seating. Tip, we took dinner "home" to eat and should have been more careful to not tilt the to go containers, coleslaw dressing ran everywhere.
Finally was able to stop in around 4 PM on a Friday for their Lobster special. I ordered the lobster fried(never had it like that before) my wife ordered the lobster steamed. We had coleslaw and baked beans and cheese grits for our sides. The very friendly girl at the window gave us a buzzer to hang onto and said when it rings to come back and pick up our food. We picked a table under a very large tree since the tables under a metal canopy were pretty much filled. We waited about 15 or 20 minutes, then our device buzzed. My fried lobster was very tasty, the steamed lobster was awesome. The lobsters came with butter, at first the butter taste tasted pretty good with a touch of garlic, I think. Halfway through, it began to overpower the Lobster. My wife thought that the butter kind of left a film on the pallet. The coleslaw was OK. The cheese grits were pretty good. The baked beans were average. A word of advice. Try not to eat under the tree as birds are very busy up there and have left droppings on the table. There were also a few ants, but not too bad.

Order at the window, have a seat out at the picnic tables underneath the massive oak trees, and all weather shelter to wait for your food. It's a steady stream of cars and people coming and everyone saying the same thing, this is the place to eat!! It's inexpensive compared to any seafood place we have ever been to. Order how you like it fried, grilled, or blackened. Comes with two sides of your choice. We ordered fried shrimp 🍤, buffalo shrimp🍤 and fried catfish. Everything tasted fresh and housemade. No boxes or microwaves in use here. Make it a day trip. Jump in the car, sit back, relax, reconnect and explore South Florida. We went to Lake Okeechobee Park, where there were lots of people living their best life, exercising and keeping up with their New Year resolutions. We walked a couple of miles of the dike at Lake Okeechobee Park as we try to do at least once a year. The towns around are small and laid back. Meander through the mom and pops and/or vintage store, or Eli's Western Wear. Come and explore.
