See All ReviewsI ordered two fish platters for delivery with mac and cheese and candied yams. At $18 per platter, it felt a bit pricey for the quality received. The Fish: Flavor-wise it was just okay, but the presentation was very poor. The fish was broken in half to give me one and a half pieces, and it looked jagged—almost like someone just broke it apart with their hands. The Sides: The candied yams were disappointing. They weren't candied at all and looked more like a flavorless puréed sweet potato. However, the mac and cheese was really good—flavorful with a great cheese-to-noodle ratio. Overall, it was an experience, but I won't be ordering from here again.
I had the wings cabbage and Mac. It was great! I loved it the guys at the counter were nice and respectful as well. My only gripe is that they are selling the save a lot tea mix for $3 a bottle, they outta pocket for that you must be paying for the bottle because that tea mix isn’t worth more than a Arizona iced tea. I couldn’t believe my taste buds when I tasted that tea mix, and I knew it was that for a fact because I just had it at my house before coming out to eat! Other than that everything else was amazing I will be back but I will not be having that homemade tea.
Food did come fast however the sweet potatoes were not sweet at all not good just taste like mash potatoes and the turkey wings were a nice size but they were dry even after they did give me gravy on the side. Lastly the mac and cheese wasn’t bad, but it could’ve used some more cheese. Nice amount of food in the platter.
