They have the best tasting burgers!!! Friendly staff I don't know if it was just the day we went, but they also had free beer.
I can't recommend Oldies because it is ridiculously expensive. I got a mushroom and swiss burger and it was over $14. That's with no drink and no sides - I didn't even get lettuce, tomato, and onions because vegetables cost extra. The burger itself was fine (not great) but definitely not worth $14. The prices are not posted online or on the menu so I'm writing this review so that others know what to expect before going.
Googled affordable lunch in Wimberley and this came up. There was a $2.00 off burger coupon on fb so i tried it. 2 plain cheeseburgers with fries were almost 40$. Not exactly a good deal. They couldnt enter the coupons in their system and it turned in to a mess. When she told me my total was 38 bucks i was surprised. She told me its because i ordered a la carte? What does that mean? Was there a better way to order? If so why didnt you tell me? No prices posted so how is the customer supposed to know without assistance? The lady behind me tried to order a lunch special and they couldnt enter it in the system either. She was visibly upset too. What a mess.
