See All ReviewsWe just had an amazing meal here! The whitefish competes with meals we’ve had in Northern Michigan, the steak was cooked to perfection and the beer was cold. The service was good and it was super cozy, beautifully decked out for Christmas. Thanks to James for taking care of us and to Ann for making sure we were having a good experience.
This place is great. Friendly waitress, clean, and good food. What more could you ask for? I had the cowboy burger and it was awesome. I recommend asking for extra BBQ sauce though, because it is amazing. The tenderloin sandwich was good also (I snagged a bite of my husband's). Our son had wings and they are pretty big. We got wings to go because they were $.79. (Thursday). I definitely recommend this place if you are in the area. I hope you get our waitress Michael, she is wonderful.
First time being in this area. Stopped in for my wife's Birthday, hoping for a decent small town meal. We were not disappointed! First, our waitress was AMAZING. Greeted us quickly as we entered the restaurant, saw us to our seats and chatted with us before asking for a drink order. With the country music playing in the background, our appetizer arrived, onion rings. Wow. Beer battered, hot and done just right. We finally decided on our meals, and when they were delivered, the portion size was HUGE! Perfect after a day on the lakes. Our cups were never empty, and our amazing waitress made sure things were perfect, multiple times. We live an hour and change away, so it won't be the most convenient, but we will absolutely be back for the service, the food and the atmosphere. While you're here try their special sauce. I think it would pair great with their wings. With the sweet hidden flavors of the peppers and jam, it combines to a near bourbon flavor, that would definitely compliment most sandwiches!
