I’ve tried several dishes from this food truck, and everything has a home cooked feel as if Nick and Jeny invited you into their home for supper. This business is family owned and operated and they treat you that way. Everything they do has a personal touch that leaves you feeling that you are valued and appreciated. The food is fantastic. I had never tried Indian food before eating at Open Kitchen, and I will admit that I was a little apprehensive to try something new, but I am so glad that I did. The butter chicken is pure comfort. This is one that I wish I could make at home because it would be a regular on my family’s dinner rotation. So, so good. The Tandoori chicken is moist and flavorful. And that new combo platter has edged out Butter Chicken as my new usual. Absolutely phenomenal. My kids love it! Every time I eat here I think that I can do without the samosas, until my mouth starts to water remembering the flavors and comfort of this dish. I imagine if I had a Bangladeshi grandmother to visit, she’d be feeding me samosas. The flavors of the fushka are fresh and delicious. They’re bite sized pieces of Heaven. This would be my favorite appetizer on the menu if the samosas weren’t so damn comforting. The Mango Lassi is not overly sweet. It’s light and refreshing. Try this out for sure. The rice pudding is so delicious and a perfect end to the experience. Everything here is light, flavorful and comforting. You will be so happy that you stopped by this food truck. They’re good people who make you feel like family.
Don't even try. I had jhal muri and it was below average. Samosa and dal kachori were way too horrible. People are good, prices are cheap, food is horrible and service it takes time. We wasted around an hour and spoiled our guts. Once again do not try. Go to subway and McDonald's instead, they are adjacent. The answer to your question is, I ordered a second plate before I finished the first one and that was a mistake. I thought of canceling the order but it was too late and I saw that the food was under preparation. Out of courtesy and because of your good behavior, I felt that it's okay to buy it and throw it later. If you would have felt sorry about the dripping oil from your food, I believe that you might correct yourself. But your question and attitude tells me that there is no improvement in sight. Anyways, good luck to you and I wish FDA checks for health safety of customers

Open kitchen is a wonderful place to grab a bite to eat! The service is fast and employees are very friendly, the butter chicken is rich and creamy with lots of flavor! The samosas are soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside! The mango lassi was fresh and delicious!
