See All ReviewsThank God they are closed for good! It sure took a long time for them to fold! Their food has been going downhill ever since the two brothers stopped cooking and they gave the cooking job to young boys who were more interested in their phone than ever even one time making a medium rare hamburger. In order to check a hamburger to see if it was done they would cut into it. Horrible horrible practice. In today’s world, we use the thermometer. The waitresses were very low class and never checked on their customers after throwing the food on the table. Thank God they are gone.
First and foremost I never write reviews yet alone bad reviews but I would like to make my people aware. There was not some big exchange where we had any form of disagreement I literally just felt the vibe. I walked into this restaurant where there were about 4-6 customers who were all the same race as the workers. I was greeted and as I got to the register the waitress an older lady proceeded to take my order as she took my order it appeared I made her uncomfortable she wouldn’t look directly at me and because I was feeling the vibe was off I continued to look at her. As she stared directly at her note pad I can see her uncomfortably looking up with her eyes as if she was uncomfortable servicing me. She gave me my total I handed her my card. As she took my card it appeared she didn’t want to touch it and wanted to hurry and get it out of her hands because she didn’t hand it back to me as I stood there waiting to be handed back my card she tossed it to the counter and turned away. There was also a guy behind the counter who asked about my order and obtained my pop to give her to hand to me she sat it on the whole other counter from where I was standing and said there’s your pop it was weird because I was standing at a separate counter even though it was close. I was really uncomfortable and wanted to return my food however I didn’t. When I went back in the grab my food she literally handed me the bag as if it was something icky she was holding and wanted to hurry and get it out of her hands when I opened my food which was some onion rings they were burnt. I automatically got the feeling that they burnt them on purpose because of my race. I thought maybe they just looked that way. When I started to eat them they were the crispest onion rings I’ve ever had with out an onion to eat with it. I’m making this review for my fellow African Americans I pray you never walk into this establishment. I pray that you’ll choose to spend your money somewhere else. Of course I know there is racism everywhere but it is now time to start holding these places accountable. If they have a problem with us being around them then they should have a problem with spending our money. I know for a fact that they will definitely know who I am because the quiet but uncomfortable feeling they have me I exuded it I was just as uncomfortable as they were and it showed in my face.
Just went for lunch during my break and ordered a Gyro omelet with spinach. By far one of the best Gyro meats I have ever tasted, perfect spices and amount of meat in the omelet. Very clean and friendly.
