Top Reviews
See All ReviewsAfter a long day driving around NJ we decided to stop at this Japanese mom & pop restaurant that had great reviews. It was nice and small with about five tables. We were the only customers for the most part on a Saturday night. The menu had a descent selection to choose from, nothing too exotic or extravagant. They did not serve alcohol which was a bit of a bummer but we continued on. My wife and I have been to plenty Japanese Sushi restaurants from which to compare to. We got two appetizers, a specialty roll and a sashimi deluxe that served 16 pieces. All the food tasted great for the price we paid. We have had higher quality seafood at many other places and were expecting the same. Depending where you might be used to going for sushi, you might want to lower your expectations if you decide to eat here.
Fresh and delicious sushi, prepared right in front of us. Everything tasted amazing. Highly recommend this place!” ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Fresh fish and an authentic Japanese atmosphere make this a solid sushi spot. We tried two Miso soups and three specialty rolls (Hawaiian, scorpion and angry shrimp). The Miso soup portions were small but flavorful. The rolls were excellent - especially the scorpion and Hawaiian with fresh mango and very fresh fish. The restaurant has beautiful Japanese decor with traditional music creating an atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Portions are reasonable and prices are fair for the quality. The freshness of the fish really stands out. Would definitely return and recommend it to anyone wanting good sushi in a pleasant place.
