From the moment you walk in, the management and staff make you feel truly at home. Every visit feels special, and every dish delivers. If you’re in Lake Placid, this is a must-stop 5-star spot. 3 months agoLocal favorite. Atmosphere is always inviting and personable. Staff os friendly and courteous. Food was cooked as we liked it and the portions were more than expected. we had a late breakfast and did not have to wait. Ourselves, friends and neighbors highly reccomnd Oscars.

5 months agoThe atmosphere is warm and friendly. We were greeted and seated immediately. The waitress was there in a few minutes, just long enough for us to peruse the menu. The food was on the table quickly and well prepared. Portions are generous and delicious. Menu is Mexican and American cooking. Been there twice and always leave with leftovers. My wife loves the chilaquiles and the Mexican Breakfast. My fave is the breakfast burrito. Get there early as the place fills up quickly. The above applies equally to Oscar's in Sebring.

a year agoHad the chicken taco salad with their mild homemade salad. It’s fantabulous! The servers were amazing to our large group and made us feel at home

2 years agoWe stumbled upon a treasure trove in Lake Placid, Florida! The staff welcomed us with such warmth. We opted to sit on the screened-in porch to keep an eye on our furry companions in the car. The service we received was exceptional! Our server was incredibly helpful and sweet. I decided to try the burrito, which turned out to be massive. My friend went for the cheeseburger with egg, and after tasting it, I can confidently say it was the best burger I've ever had! We will certainly return for those delicious margaritas! The service was quick and efficient.

2 years agoI've been to Oscar's Kitchen several times, and it has been excellent every visit. The food is made fresh to order, and they will try to accommodate substitutions where they can. They serve traditional and Mexican dishes for breakfast and lunch. There are lots of options on the menu to satisfy most palates.
