Placed an order online. Went to pick it up to find out that I accidentally placed my order for Urbana. I’m in Springfield. So we tried to reorder for the correct location (Springfield) and they told us we couldn’t since we’re wasted that locations supply!!! thats BS!! And I don’t think we will ever go back.
Has been one of my favorites for over 20 years. Always stop back when I’m in Ohio. This past trip the staff was apathetic and more interested in their cell phones and personal conversations than taking orders or helping customers. Food quality has taken a dive too. There was a bone in my Italian sub (which should just be sliced meats). Sad that such a great sandwich shop for many years has become another below average spot with horrendous service.
Unfortunately, this place that I’ve loved since a child has gone down hill. Starting with the service and lack of evolving with the times. I ordered DoorDash from here and the bag was not secured, neither was the container that the sub was in. I have no clue what may have happen from the store to my house. When I called and asked if this was correct; the crass response from the unconcerned lady on the other end of the line was “that’s how we’ve always done it and we aren’t going to change!”. The receipt was already stapled to the bag, so it’s not even extra work, just staple the bag shut to put your customers at ease. Sadly this is the end of our relationship. I hope you all have better experiences than this.
