The chicken asada and crispy taco were excellent! Nice little homey place right on Highway 80.
Oh my gosh!!! I am a Mexican food snob from living near Mexico and having authentic Mexican food growing up !!! So good! I am so glad I walked in here! The salsa is amazing as well as the chicken sour cream enchiladas with rice and beans!! Their unsweetened tea is perfect! And the lady who greeted me was so warm and nice! I love the music as well! Highly recommend!!! What a sweet little spot!
The staff was genuinely kind and welcoming, which we appreciated right away. The salsa had a nice kick, and the chips were fresh, and good, although the oil they were fried in left a lingering heaviness that distracted from the crunch. Queso was fine, but not particularly memorable. What truly caught us off guard was the quesadilla, filled with unmistakably melted American cheese. It was an unexpected twist that left us wondering if maybe the usual cheese just wasn’t available that day. Either way, it felt more like a grilled cheese sandwich than a Mexican entrée. We left most of the food untouched, which says more than we want it to. Still, points for hospitality.
