See All ReviewsWe enjoyed our meal, I had the creole shrimp, very good. Wife had steak good flavor but little tough. Waitir brought out a sample dish, don't know what it is called, but it was addictive. They best way I can describe it is Pico with potatoes. Sound funny but it is great. If you are looking for something a little different for date nite, PCo's
Excellent food! The chef / owner "Paco" [Francisco Arrocha] came and talked to my wife and I. He shared his life's journey and passion for being a true entrepeneur. He has vast experience selling and marketing fresh garlic (while living in Spain and Miami, Fla.); and Francisco is also growing chestnut trees, while promoting an annual, local chestnut festival in November. Francisco is a kind, Christian man, along with his wife; and they are serving South Boston, Va. as a great team. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed their culinary Spanish seafood dishes along with fantastic desserts. This restaurant is a warm and comfortable place to truly experience dishes from Spain and Cuba. We highly recommend this restaurant; and we look forward to returning often. It is worth the cost to dine here!
Had a great dinner experience at Pacos. A great compliment to the atmosphere created by our 'small large family' gathered. Shared a few dishes with others, enjoyed the sampling of the grilled octopus, fried pork chunks.. and another dish, think it was fish. Will visit again when back in South Boston.
