See All ReviewsAs a Nigerian, this was my first time trying Ghanaian food, and l decided to go with Waakye because l have heard great things about it and wow it was delicious and the portion was great.......l was so full, l had to take off my pants to create space for the rest of the food !! My fellow Nigerians, and others please don't be hesitant to try Ghanaian food, it's very delicious 😋. Next time though l will get extra stew then also try their fufu and light soup.
The atmosphere isn't much to write home about, but the food is very good and authentic. They were supposed to open at noon and didn't open the door until almost 1:00. It would be a good idea to call before showing up.
You have to go to the laundromat next door for the toilet. Jollof rice with chicken was very good. The soup with goat and fish was spicy!
