Pambazo is an amazing takeout spot that has delicious food. The quality/quantity is generous. So glad to have tried this place out and I’m definitely going to return! Also there’s cute merchandise and snacks for purchase as well. I forgot to take a pic of those items but you’ll just have to come to check it out!
Tried out Pambazos for dinner and ordered shrimp tacos, carnitas tacos, chips and guacamole, pork tamale, and horchata! Everything was delicious! The tamales were yummy, but spicy (although I’m a baby when it comes to spice). The carnitas tacos were cut up chunks/slices of pork as opposed to shredded pork that I’m used to, but not bad. The shrimp tacos were packed! But my favorite of the night was the chips and guacamole. The chips were perfectly cooked and crispy and the guacamole was super fresh! The owners were super warm and welcoming and the food was ready pretty quickly. The vibe in the shop reminded me of growing up in So Cal, with all the traditional Mexican candies I grew up with. I didn’t ask, but it seems like it was take out only, no biggie, but just a heads up!
Lovely place with great people. The gentleman behind the counter offered me some of their special, spicy guac. I ordered a pambazo and nachos for my first visit, and it was all stunningly delicious. I will be heading back to try the tacos. :-) Great selection on the menu, and there's a little tienda with imported goods.
