See All ReviewsMy husband and I both ordered the Country Fried Steak with Seasoned Fries for lunch. It was outstanding. The best around!! They served a generous portion of steak, with the gravy all homemade. Not frozen meat from a package. We've eaten there more than once and the foods always fantastic. The people there are very friendly, and the wait wasn't long.
First time diner here! Really nice menu with lots of options. Sausage gravy has lots of sausage. I had the bowl....might have been called Al's Bowl.....with the biscuit on the side. It was split, buttered and grilled, and came out perfectly crispy. It was a big serving, and I took half of it home. My hubby will be happy with the leftovers if I don't eat them before he gets to them! Next time I'll try the corned beef hash, made on site if I can talk some into getting the bowl so I have a bite or three of that too! Wish I'd taken pictures.
Hands down the best breakfast I've had, ever. I usually try to get something that I don't make at home, but I wound up getting almost exactly what I like to make. To say the least, I was highly disappointed in myself. This place outdid my own cooking. From the dippy eggs, home fries, seeded rye toast, to the last nail in the coffin, the fresh sausage patty. If I was a little baby, I'd use that as a pacifier and suck on it all day. My wife had an omelet that made me second guess my decisions. It was almost as good as my food. The waitress was very attentive, informative, and a pleasure to deal with. If you're looking for some good breakfast, quit reading and punch this place into your GPS. PM me and I'll get you my address so you can send me a thank you card. Enjoy!!!
