2 months agoCame in at 1:30. Hours say open til 3. Nobody bothered to help or take my order. Total ghost town. Staff was only focused on trying to clean up and leave early. Waited til 1:39 and left hungry and frustrated. Not great. Going to food court now at International mall. Service like this makes supporting local businesses very hard.

5 months agoOutstanding lunch spot, had the palomilla sandwich and I’m definitely coming back for it. Great portions and great prices. What a hidden gem and great staff!

7 months agoI was fully intent on having a cuban sandwich this trip to Fl. My friends took me to Papi's Cafe and I almost slipped to get the food they were serving. But I stuck with the sandwich and I was blown away! It was perfectly pressed, the ratio of condiments-meat-bread ensured you got am equal amount with each bite. It was simply delicious! I can't wait to go back and try the other food they had...plus the sandwich!

7 months agoThis cafe is on the first floor inside an office building but don't let that deter you. Food is freshly made by order with quality ingredients. Friendly staff. This bacon egg and cheese on cuban bread was big, delicious, and cost $8.

Edited 7 months agoLooking for a place to eat a hot Cuban breakfast we found this hidden place inside a building that we almost walked away from it. We ordered smoke salmon toasted and we loved it! They also have a variety of healthy meal for a very good price. You should try it. 👍🏻

2 years agoI discovered this place last year when working at Florida Blue Tower for a few days. I went there for lunch this past Friday on the 26th. I was not disappointed one bit. Their food was delicious top notch 👌 The portion size was phenomenal. You will not go home hungry from there. The staff is very friendly and take pride in their commitment to great food.

3 years agoDon't be tricked by the high rating like I was. I saw the photos of the food, and the review about the fried rice, and thought that looks AND sounds bad. But I thought 4.8 stars so I should give it a try. I felt totally cheated. With so many Hispanic food places nearby, I can't believe this place is open. But I guess they have captive diners, people who work in the building. LOCATION. It's a cafeteria inside a business building. Google Maps did not give good directions. FOOD. The review about the fried rice did not prepare me for how bad it looks. I had much better looking and tasting fried rice from Trader Joe's. The pork looks very dry and lifeless in the pan but I gave it a try anyway. Who knows maybe it tastes better than it looks. Nope. This was at 11 a.m. so the food shouldn't look and taste like that. SERVICE. There's barely anyone in the dining area but it took awhile to get service. It was a good thing I wasn't in a hurry. But they were nice. PRICE. $8/meal + $3/fountain drink. So I guess the place has low price going for it.

4 years agoI stopped here for lunch since i was working in the area and it had great reviews on google maps. I had a coffee, slice of pizza ( homemade pizza was the specialty for the day) and a turkey sandwich. The turkey sandwich was scrumptious and the ratio of ingredients to the meat and bread was perfection. It was one of those sandwich that you want to eat more as soon as you finish it. The restaurant was super clean and can accommodate quite a lot of people. Another item on the menu which i heard is the star of the show is the Cuban sandwich. I have not tried it but i will definitely try it out when i am in the area. This place is definitely a hidden gem and i will love everything about it.
