Finally got to try this spot out with my family a few weeks ago and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the chile relleno burrito since I’ve had it. Absolutely a 10/10 will hopefully be back asap!
Really great service, love all of the plants, and the chorizo burger was the best burger I’ve ever had. A real neighborhood gem!
Okay hear me out. The service was good and the place is really cute. My favorite thing was that everything was served in actual dishes not on paper plates or to go containers or plasticware. It's cash only which I don't mind plus there's a ATM inside. Do not get the chilaquiles! The "chips" are so oily and the bottom of the plate will be so liquid, it's supposed to be the sauce. Maybe it was an off day but the shredded chicken on top was dry and it didn't smell right. I didn't want to be rude to my elders so I ate around the plate but I had to control myself from spiting out the chicken. My partner ordered a torta but it was definitely not a traditional torta the bread was a French roll. I'm surprised she was able to eat half of the food. The aguas are definitely made from the powder mix. The owner did offer us a bowl of soup of the day which won our heart over. I say if you go here try to stick to American dishes. That's what seems to be the best choices according to the previous reviews. I'm sad that people have given really great reviews about the food but I think it's because they like the people who work or run this place but I had to give my honest unfiltered opinion.
