My mother and I have passed by this place at least 15 times and did not know it existed. Until one day I just happened to glance and see it. So we went in. The food was great I had the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes with Mexican rice and pinto beans and she had mikes special. The pictures attached shows how good the food was. The service was great. Our server kept the coffee flowing and was attentive to our table. The atsmophere was awesome. Clean and quiet with easy listening music playing in the background. It's tucked away so blink and you'll miss it.
We stopped here because the restaurant we wanted to eat at wasn't open. We saw the reviews for Peggy's and decided to try it. We both had the chicken fried chicken, carrots, pinto beans, and potato salad. They were great. The restaurant is very clean and the service was great. Don't let the exterior fool you. This is an A1 restaurant.
I’ve recently moved back to the neighborhood and I’ve been back to Peggy’s about 5 times in the last month! The food is amazing and definitely worth it. The service is even more amazing with the staff being the friendliest and not making you feel rushed. I love the atmosphere because I’m able to chill eat and even hang out a lil in the restaurant relaxing on my own. I would definitely recommend Peggy’s to those who love good food and their own vibe.
