The inside of the place is a bit plain however the food is what you are there for. The Pierogi is tasty as can be and their other tidbits are just as good. This is going to be a regular eating place for my wife and myself.
Never having had Polish food before, I had a LOT of questions. The owner was so kind, offered me several samples, and recommended a great selection of items for us to try. The sausage and Pierogi were, of course, divine. But the sleeper surprise was the hunters stew, a mildly sour cabbage-beef-tomato side. We also really enjoyed the cabbage rolls and the tomato and noodle soup. We were so busy trying and enjoying all of the new items that I forgot to take photos of the actual food, lol. There's no seating inside. It's all takeout. But it's also quick. If you don't want to commit to a full meal, stop by their stand at the Palafox Market on Saturdays.
Stopped in to inquire about the frozen pierogi. Decided to try 5 hot potato and cheese for lunch before spending on a lot. Wow, taste compared to my mothers was spot on. Settled on 6 dozen for Christmas dinner. The brick and mortar is no frills as it is take out only but the pierogi were delicious.
