I've been looking for a spot that serves good old fashioned Southern Soul food, and I found it. This place is exactly what I needed in my life. I knew when I saw a line of folks in there that the food was about to be swingin'. Fried chicken was crispy and seasoned to absolute perfection. It was hard to choose among the many amazing sides, but I had to try the greens and yams, which were out of sight. Cornbread wasn't too sweet either. I'm a sucker for a good plate, so I'll be returning on the regular, and I'll be bringing the family along. You must try this!
Food was just ok. Not extraordinary but not nasty either. We went in on a Friday evening and the wings were not hot. The collard greens were tasty.
Absolutely amazing southern food the smothered pork chops and turkey necks with greens are always our go to items. Highly recommend even if they dont offer a sit down environment.
