They split appetizers and mains here without charging extra which is rare. Got the pasta and portions were solid for the price, everything tasted fresh and sauce had actual flavor to it. Good wine list too if you're into that. Came midweek so it wasn't packed, servers knew their stuff. Honestly works great for group dinners when everyone's splitting checks and watching what they spend.
Wow. A hidden gem right in the heart of Mission Valley, tucked next to the Nordstrom Rack in a charming courtyard full of casual spots. Old-timey music, warm ambiance, old-world feel. The menu is Italian through and through: pastas, pizzas, salads, with fresh options for everyone. Lunch specials run until 2PM every day of the week, and happy hour is hard to beat with Italian cocktails, wine, beer, and bites all at $6. The staff are warm and genuinely patient, made me feel like a regular on the first visit. So glad I said yes to this one.
The mussels and burrata were both incredibly delicious, scoring 9/10 and 10/10 respectively. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food.
