My family has been going to Pet Styles for close to 20 years (maybe more). Our loyalty was tied to two incredible employees who no longer work there. These two individuals were very kind, accommodating and patient with some anxious pups. I made an appointment in late August for tomorrow for my dog. When I did not receive a confirmation text, I reached out this afternoon to make sure my appointment was still on. A little after 4 pm, I received a text informing me that my regular groomer left without notice “a few days ago” and they had no one to groom my dog. They also recommended some other grooming business. While I completely understand not having someone available on the same day and time as my original appointment, they offered nothing. Had I not reached out proactively, when would they have let me know? When I showed up tomorrow for my appointment? I understand things happen, people leave and businesses have to make adjustments, but this is incredibly unprofessional. This is not the way to treat any customer. If you’re looking for a new groomer, check out Floss’ in Runnemede, since this is the business Pet Styles told me to contact!
Overall not bad, Jessie was my dogs groomer and she lacks customer service and was a bit rude so I stopped taking my goldendoodle but she did okay with his grooming overall. It seemed though they were biased to goldendoodles because of their matting they can have so I stopped going.
Even though I didn’t accomplish my goal In having my dogs nails clipped. It was still a pleasant first experience at Pet Styles. Both Jessy and Skylar went above and beyond to try and accommodate my dog. He was just too anxious for them to service him. They were very patient and tried their best with him. If you have an animal and want the best treatment for them this Is the place. They are very compassionate and do their best to comfort the animals and assure them they are In good hands. I’d give them 10 Stars If I could. And will definitely try again In the future. Thank you for going the Extra Mile not all places are as understanding as you guys.
