The portions are great, the service is wonderful, and food is so tasty. There is something on the menu for everyone, and my mixed-diet group all ended up with meals they loved.
Very good restaurant! The fried rice and momos were delicious, and the food arrived fast. They also accomodated us when we asked for tofu instead of meat in a couple of dishes, which was not an option on the menu.
First time here, recommended by our Tibetan uber driver some really long time ago and finally made it. Food was really good and just love the spiciness and the heat. Good portion and not too expensive. If they ever do sell the hot chilli crisps oil they provide on the table, I would buy a few. No explosion the next day !! Clientele were mostly from the region and we will be back. Just a few steps from 7 E F M R subway.
We ordered the beef fried momos and the chicken steamed momos and the chicken thenthuk. All three were absolutely perfect. Each table comes with two types of chili oil that you can pour as much as you want of. Definitely eating here again (after I try the location across the street first though).
Loved the interior decor and simple dining setting. The flavor of the food was really good especially the lamb however it was a bit too greasy for my taste. Service was great and quick as well. The hygiene could be improved as exposed items for customers seems odd from chopsticks, to hot sauce on table. Overall will have to go back to try other dishes to see if it was just the dishes my wife and I had that were oily because we really enjoyed the flavor. Will return.
Can’t get enough of this place and it’s consistently good every time. Usually go to their original upstairs location but on Monday’s that one is closed so I finally sat at the second location (this one). My must orders are spicy beef tongue and steamed beef momo, loaded with their spicy sauce and chili oil. Tried the Lhasa fried noodles for the first time and loved it so that might be added to my must order list. Heads up, cash only.
Lovely establishment with a warm family environment. The food is amazing with exceptional spice. Where you are into spicy food or not there are plenty of options on the menu. We enjoyed beef momos which are at an amazing price point. For entrees we enjoyed chilly chicken and fried rice. Both were delicious with the rice having a smokiness to it that was amazing. Overall a favorite in the nyc area, not just queens.
This Tibetan spot in Jackson Heights makes my favorite Momos in the city - and I've had a lot of them. Their Steamed Beef Momos are juicy and delicious - and their consistency and flavor really sets them apart (along with that delicious chili oil). Other musts are the Lhasa Fried Noodle, the Laphing, and you should also probably try an order of Fried Momos if you've never had them, because they're also really good.. just not as juicy as the Steamed variety. If you want some non-spicy options, the Pork and Mushrooms was really good, and they have some veggies on the menu as well. If you don't eat meat, you can also get Potato Momos which are good. Enjoy!
