This is my go to place for cheesesteaks in Hampton. Food is always consistently great and fast. The owner and his wife are hard working people that I will continue to support as long as I’m in the area. You will not be disappointed! Call in the order for fast service.
All I can simply say is OMG AMAZING. And worth every penny which I dont think was much at all $13 for Philly steak loaded with fries and drink . Definitely worth stopping in.
Got the reg cheesteak, with peppers and onions. Lots of veg, very juicy and flavorful. Had to eat in the car so prepare to not have a place to sit. But it ain't half bad.
Being Philly native, this Philly cheesesteak was good but not great. It lacked that stong beef flavor which tells me the quality of the meat was not there. Other than that, which is a huge part, it was prepared well. I'll keep looking for that Philly taste.
Alright, so I ordered the regular Philly cheesesteak and it was honestly just meh. The steak tasted like a mix of ground beef and steak with base seasoning of a little salt and pepper. Not much flavor. They also use canned mushrooms in the sandwich which also takes away from the flavor and adds this rubbery bite to it. Would not recommend adding those to it. I appreciate that it was served hot and there was cheese throughout, but I wouldn’t recommend.
Food was really good well seasoned and portions were large and well priced they give you a little buzzer so no guessing when your order is ready employee's were really friendly and service was fast definitely will be back.
First time, won't be my last. I had always wondered about the little yellow hut in the auto zone parking lot. There are always cars and someone standing at the window to order. NOW I GET IT. The bulgogi cheesesteak with onions, peppers, and mushrooms was wonderful. A delicious spin on the traditional philly. Next time, I'll get extra cheese. The meat portion was generous for a standard sub, and the price was a great value ($14 for large sub combo). It was enough to share the combo and be full. The fries were fresh, crisp, and potatoey. Kids loved the chicken wings, popcorn shrimp, hotdogs, and funnel cake fries. Fed 5 people on $35. Jersey Mike's doesn't have anything on the bulgogi philly. I am looking forward to exploring other hot subs on their menu. Second visit and it was just as good as the first. Chef's kiss.
Ordered the Philly steak combo, size small, but the sub was big! no mushrooms just peppers and extra cheese. Was so good! Bread was soft, food was hot, fries were alright with a side of ranch and a coke. Will return!!
