This was my first time coming to Pho31, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. When I walked in, no one greeted me or showed me to a table. I waited at the entrance for about 5 minutes before a server (a woman around 50–60 years old) finally came out. She saw me standing there but didn’t greet me or offer to seat me. Instead, she stood right in front of me and continued chatting with other customers. I felt completely ignored and very disrespected. I was so upset that I decided to leave immediately. The service was extremely poor. 👎
This is by far the worst experience I’ve had me and my family coming in the place, first of all is empty, we order some food thinking it was going to be good When I asked for the bill, they literally over charged us the lady said the food went up by 3 dollars. This is crazy. Please stay away from this place it not worth it !! Maybe that’s the reason the place is empty
when I dined in didn’t feel welcomed first time there didn’t know what was going on the server excepted me to know where to sit and all , didn’t Feel welcomed Bad service and I had a roach in my food got egg rolls they smelled like old grease banh mi was Disgusting spit it out and threw it away I ate one egg roll it was good the rest tasted off I’m no hater but this is the worst Vietnamese restaurant I have ever been too!!!! The pork on the bahn mi was disgusting to ever thing about this restaurant is bad I paid 30 dollars worst experience ever had in a restaurant!
This review is to help people who might be considering this place, just don't. You can read other reviews but basically inconsistent upcharge, and poor service. It is due to owner change unfortunately so it won't be a problem that will be resolved. Id suggest driving a little to go to T&M Viet house. Much better quality and fair pricing or even taco bell, way better than this place.
Why did I come to a pho restaurant and order fried rice? Well my husband wanted pho but I decided to go with the chicken fried rice. This was a biig disappointment! The egg rolls were great! Nice and hot but the fried rice was cold and I asked them could they heat it up and they did but it still tasted like it wasn’t cooked fresh. Please do better.
I love this food so much it is absolutely amazing and delicious. I tried it for the first time two days ago, had leftovers, and then come back the next day. Good prices and friendly owners. Thank u so much!
Having lived in the DC/Va area in the 90’s, I have had excellent Pho and Pho 31 is the real deal, admittedly the exterior in an offbeat plaza, made me reticent about walking in, but very glad I did. You go there for the food, inside ambience is an acquired taste and speaking of food. The rare beef noodle Pho was excellent, rich brought with outstanding quality of beef, very lean, no grizzle. Accoutrements (basil, cilantro , bean sprouts) were very fresh, which to me is critical. The Fresh spring roll appetizer was also very fresh and tasteful with an excellent peanut sauce. I will totally be returning as a frequent customer. Pricing by the way is ridiculously cheap.
Everything that I ordered from here was fresh and tasty. I started off with 4 spring rolls with the peanut sauce on the side and that was phenomenal. Then ordered the X.L Pho 31 bowl All In and that exceeded my expectations!! It literally brought my taste buds to paradise and is the one of the best that I’ve had yet! I also had the Thai Tea as a beverage and it was also sweet and tasty. Overall, Pho 31 was an awesome experience for me and I will definitely come back and bring more people with me! I recommend whoever reads this review to come and try some Pho for yourselves!
