A true hole-in-the-wall gem—I feel lucky to have stumbled upon this spot. They’re known for their pho, but don’t sleep on the bánh xèo… it’s absolutely incredible. Generous portions, packed with fresh herbs and veggies—everything just hits right.
Pho Con Bo is an absolute must-try. The Banh Xeo alone is worth the visit — perfectly golden and crispy, packed with flavor, and so mouth-watering that I couldn’t stop thinking about it after the first bite. The peaceful, cozy environment makes it easy to just sit back and enjoy every moment of the meal. I even bought extra to take home because it was that good. And don’t skip the pho — it’s rich, comforting, and full of deep, authentic flavor. If you’re anywhere nearby and craving something truly satisfying, this place needs to be at the top of your list.
This pho spot takes “the best places are always a whole in the wall” to a different level. The broth is the star of the show. I’ve had Pho in every state in the lower 48 and this is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Plus the service was amazing.
One the best Vietnamese Pho Ox Tail Restaurant In Houston, TX My mom love this Restaurant and knows the owner. The originally located next to Hong Kong Supermarket, literally next door. They move to this location and I just found out cause I though they sold the business to retire.
Easily the best pho and bánh xèo I’ve ever had in my life. Everything came out fresh to order, insanely flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can truly taste the quality and care and love in each bite and slurp. We will definitely keep coming back! Service is also fantastic.
Came for lunch. Staff were attentive and helpful. Food still as good as it was at the previous location. The crispy crepes are crispy, big, and delicious. The pho is hot and hearty and filling. The oxtail pho was just as I liked, tender and easy to bite into. Not too chewy. Nice hearty meal. Will definitely be back for more.
Pho Con Bò is the best authentic Vietnamese pho restaurant in the Houston, TX area. The beef broth was just perfect. At this restaurant, they used fresh beef bones to cook the phở broth without adding any artificial powdered ingredients to the broth. That is why their phở broth tastes so delicious. The staff is so friendly and provides the best customer service. They treated the customers with a warm welcome greeting. The restaurant is extremely clean. The restaurant used to be located on Bellaire Ave, but it has now relocated to Boone Street. Although the restaurant's location is in a hidden place, there is nothing to stop them from attracting all new customers. By the way, you must try their crispy rice pancake (bánh xèo). It was so good that my American friend ate the whole bánh xèo by himself. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Pho Con Bo earns 5 stars! This family-owned joint, once on Bellaire, hasn’t skipped a beat at its new location. The owner is extremely nice, the pho is rich with deep, balanced flavors, and the banh xeo steals the show—crispy, savory perfection.
