The restaurant was not very clean, which made the experience uncomfortable from the start. On top of that, one of the female servers came across as very passive-aggressive during our interaction. I didn’t feel welcomed or valued as a customer. Customer service and cleanliness are both important, and unfortunately this place fell short in both areas. I won’t be returning.
This is my second time coming to this restaurant. The difference this time was that I ordered take-out instead of dining in since I was on my lunch break. I ordered the 'special vermicelli' and traditional spring rolls. I have nothing bad to say about the food as it has been consistently good. The only negative feedback I have is that I paid $29 for my food and ask for a to go container of hoison sauce. When I asked the young lady who worked behind the counter for one container. She hesitated, then proceeded to tell me it would be an extra dollar. I wasn't sure if this is the standard, or if she just didn't feel like getting it. I have been to many different Vietnamese restaurants and have never been charged extra for this. For the price charged this should be included.
The quality of the vegetarian dishes is excellent. Fresh veggies like broccoli, bok choy, carrots, and mushrooms. Definitely a five-star review except the restaurant should offer small bowl / plate options, especially for lunch. Some more economically priced menu options are needed. I would eat here more often if smaller dishes were available.
