Found this place while looking for a resto that is open late after coming from the rodeo. Was recommended their best seller "Tiktok Noodle" (pictured) and it was really good.
Came here for late night chickens hot pot and the owner recommended the goat hot pot instead and i realized why when the food came out. The photo showed everything that came with it. A plate of noodles and a plate of cabbage, no other vegetables or tofu. As you can see the hot pot has little meat, and it’s all lean meat, no skins no belly. He sold us the left-over with full price. And the lemongrass lime is definitely powder, it started to separate. Owner has Zero pride in cooking food, all about making money. I will never come again.
This restaurant has a friendly atmosphere, making you feel like you're having a meal at home. The owner is very welcoming and always greets customers with a smile. Last time, I brought my son here for Pho; he was using crutches due to a foot injury, and the owner kindly offered to give him a piggyback ride to the car. Hu Tiew is delicious, and the Pho Ga tastes great. The large portion of meat is generously served. I highly recommend this place!"
I wanted to keep this spot a secret, but the incredible pho here makes it impossible not to share. There's so much meat and meatballs in their pho. Pho was reasonablely priced especially for the flavor and the amount they give. I've also heard that their garlic noodles and fried rice are on point but I'm so stuffed I'll have to try it another time. Place was clean and service was good. Also they open everyday until midnight! It's tucked behind the Shipley's on Bellaire and Belle Park. Give this place some love y'all. You'll be glad you did!
The food here was incredible!! It’s a must try. I got the chicken salad, rice plate, and turnip cakes and they were all 9-10/10 dishes!!
Friendly service w a server who went out of his way to make us feel welcomed & offered local suggestions since we were visiting. This is one of the few places you can try authentic pho ga la chanh and it was every bit of delicious as it sounds!
It's been 5 years traveling back n forth from USA to Canada & India... Houston is my hometown in USA... tried pho at so many places... So many cities and states... Service was quick Food Awesome .. Thanks 👍 keep it up...
definitely not worth the price for two. yes this place is opened late (12am) and the take multiple forms of payment which is why we decided to give it a try and bc it had a 4.4 rating. they guy was attentive in the form that he suggested a sea food like pho, but had i realized they didnt offer beef on the menu i would have suggested we bounce. we both decided to order two chicken pho and an order of 6pc egg rolls and two lemonades. passion fruit + a strawberry lemonade. both were super strong. it was like drinking straight syrup. yes we watered them down. once i got home. it was $4.95 a pop no refills. once the bowls got to the table presentation looks fair. not gonna lie the broth had a great flavor. what i wasn't use to was having a chicken cut up with bone and skin still attached to the chicken meat. that really threw me off only bc the skin looked sus and didn't have great favor. not that we were trying to chomp on that, to each their own. and i get that maybe thats what gave the broth its flavor but for $11.99 it really threw me off. the noodles had the same texture as the onion slivers which threw my visual off. i did have about a cup of the broth sipped down but that was it. the egg rolls were nice and hot, crispy good. and that was about it. those were about $7.99. we paid our tab and left. guy was busy prepping to go orders. we could of said something but i understand it just could of been a different variation of what we're use to considering we've had pho at MANY different place including around the area. im just speaking on my experience and just saying not what i expected. not my type of version. on to the next.
