The broth is extremely watered down and I struggled getting through my $16 #15. If you’re just looking for some warm noodle soup and not actual flavor or something authentic, then come here, otherwise go to Pho75 or check out some other spots. There is way better Pho out there. I would argue their Pho is overpriced compared to other spots that give you petter portions of meat with a flavorful broth, so don’t come here either for a cheap good bowl of pho.
I came in not to long ago order the spring rolls fried and I love how well the it cooked and also with the pho there very generous with the bowl size and well with the extra tendons I order to
Pho isn’t just about how much meat you get, or how good the broth is before adding Hoisin or Sriracha, or what kind of noodles are used - it’s about the culinary cohesion of every single ingredient. Every restaurant’s pho is unique, its own sense of individuality, and Pho Ngoc Hung is nothing short of amazing. I’ve had pho all over the world, and this place ranks among the best. Pho Ngoc Hung is a cozy hole in the wall, the type of restaurant you look for in your culinary exploration. The staff is courteous, the service is quick, and the pho is superb. Strongly recommend this spot for all friends & family who love Viet food or just Pho.
Oh my gosh! I keep hearing about the broth, and I have to say, it really is the best I've had in the DMV area! The place may be small, but the customer service and food are absolutely top-notch. Everything I tried was delicious, super fresh, and piping hot right off the stove. I’ll definitely be going back for more tasty dishes!
This is a non-descript place with ok food. If you want to eat and aren't looking for "wow" then this place is fine. For me, the flavor just wasn't there. There's free parking and the staff is friendly enough. The setting was clean and comfortable and I think the customer base is folks looking to eat. My vermicelli with grilled pork had a lot of meat, but the meat was tough and had no flavor. I found that disappointing. My wife's pork chop was so so.
Clean place, parking can be a little tight. Tables are adhering to social distancing. Rapid service. Quality of chicken was good and broth was delicious. They use individual packaged hoisen sauce and sirracha. They have three sizes: small, large and super bowl.
My husband and I are new to the Falls Church area and were looking for a good pho dish on a rainy day. Pho Ngoc Hung was a great find just a couple minutes from our home. I ordered the beef brisket and flank pho and my husband ordered the meatball pho. Both were very flavorful and the meat was cooked just right. We also tried the dumplings and Vietnamese coffee...both were delicious. We highly recommend this place and it is super convenient, just off from Columbia Pike. Thanks!
This is one of my favorite🍜 Pho places in Northern VA. It's a small hidden gem and I have had many soups at various locations but this broth is always good and consistent. The garden rolls with shrimp taste fresh and both the Seafood and Chicken broths are delish!! The steamed dumplings were also very good, small but cooked to perfection. The Vermicelli noodles with Lemongrass Grilled Chicken is also great choice if you're looking for a nice tasty platter other than soup. It's a small place and packed at times but worth the wait imo.
