Very flavorful food! My husband and I had the spicy pho and absolutely loved it. We’ve tried pho in many places, including Texas and other states, and this is by far the best we’ve had. My son ordered the fried rice and enjoyed it as well. Portions are good for the price. The staff was friendly and service was relatively fast (we came Sunday around 4 pm). We will definitely be back!
Everything is so tasty and fresh! Highly recommend. The staff is also always very friendly and attentive!
I had a mixed experience at Pho Son Restaurant in Oswego. The customer service was really great and welcoming, which I truly appreciated. The spring rolls were good, and everything came out fresh, fragrant, and served at the right temperature. The broth itself was well-seasoned and clearly prepared with care. However, the pho just wasn’t for me. While I can tell it was made well, it didn’t quite resonate with my palate. It’s possible I didn’t mix it properly or choose the right combination of ingredients for my taste buds. That said, I may try it again since it’s such a popular dish right now and I really wanted to enjoy this Vietnamese staple. It just wasn’t a hit for me this time around.
holy cannoli, it blows my mind all nearby chain restaurant drive-thrus are slammed, and when i arrived, i was the only person there! this food is FRESH, this food is FLAVORFUL, this food is REAL. the spring rolls are crispy, the soup is healing, even the strawberry lemonade made to-order. this place rivals Pho Nam Lua (in Chicago), and their attention to detail is 2nd to none (1/2 sriracha 1/2 hoisin to-go cups).
Amazing little shop. Food was fresh and delicious! Plus the server was so very nice. 🤩 Highly recommend! Will definitely be coming back
Good food, the pork and vegetables rolls were good we got multiple orders the pho broth flavor was good, the special pho had tripe and tendon which some places don’t have, the pho was not cheap on the meat. My wife said her noodles could be softer, we had rolls to go, would highly recommend
I’ve been to a lot of pho restaurants, and I can confidently say that Pho Son is a hidden gem. The banh mi, in particular, was one of the tastiest sandwiches I’ve ever had. I recommend getting it to everyone. Note: It does have a bit of a spicy kick to it. I got the oxtail pho, and t’was delicious. The meat on the bone was tender, and I’m looking forward to ordering it again. This may actually be the best pho restaurant in the western suburbs!
I brought my family for lunch for the first time today to try out Pho Son. We ordered some pho with brisket, steak, and meatball served with fresh bean sprouts, lime, and peppermint leaves. The broth was delicious. You can taste the freshness. The spring rolls with peanut sauce defenetly hit the spot. The rice plate with chicken would defenetly have it again... as well as everything else in the menu. The atmosphere was clean and simple, enough parking and easy access to the restaurant. Service the very good and friendly. I'll be back.
