See All ReviewsI ordered grilled meat with broken rice here and honestly, it was amazing, but what really stood out was the hospitality. The young guy who served me was super friendly and cool. He actually checked in to make sure the food was good, which I really appreciated. A lot of places just serve your food and walk away, but this local Vietnamese restaurant made me feel genuinely welcomed. The food was great, but the service is what makes it even better. That kind of hospitality means a lot to me, and it’s the reason I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
Nice, authentic Vietnamese food for good pricing with good portions. We got: grilled pork broken rice, grilled pork vermicelli, and bun bo hue. The bun bo hue was spicy, deep flavored broth with pork blood cubes which some places aren't giving anymore. The grilled pork for the vermicelli and broken rice was made well, not too hard and seasoned nicely. The egg roll was crispy but I wouldn't say it's the best I've had. Great place to come back for bun bo hue which they're definitely much more well known for.
People recommended me to come here for the bun Bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup) . But I found it kind of bland and not enough lemon grass in there to give that burst of flavors . It was just another average place to me and so far Houston still has the best Bbh .
