See All ReviewsI drove down there from Queen Creek. I arrived at 8:27PM. There were about 3 cars ahead of me and I noticed that they were not moving. I didn’t think much of it. The car ahead of me sat at the menu for forever, but I just thought maybe he was ordering a big order. Finally the car moves up to the window and sat for a minute and just drove off. I figured he was just impatient after the long wait. Finally at about 8:47PM I get up to the menu and I keep saying hello and I got no response after 5 minutes I drive up to the window and the guy in there just stares at me and does not say anything at all. Before driving all the way over there I checked Google and the closing time was 9 PM . If you close earlier than that or stop cooking at 8:30 PM you should advertise that. Also,Not acknowledging the customers was also crazy . You could have simply explained that you are not open any more. The customer service is terrible.
My Grandma was craving Fish and Chips, wasn't sure of any places near by that was "fast food". Pirate's Fish and Chips came up on my search! Fish was crispy but had a sub par taste/seasoning. The "chips" were also just sub par (really had no flavor/seasoning). Also note: This place is **CASH ONLY** I asked for sauce such as Tartar/Malt Vinegar, was told there was sauce in the bag. It was their Pirate Sauce (House Sauce), it was a red sweet and tangy sauce, again just sub par! I had to find other sauce to my liking when I was home, such as making "Tartar Sauce" and using Hot Sauce to get that vinegar taste. However, the prices are very reasonable! I would eat there again and try other things! Even get fish and chips again! They do have parking behind the restaurant and a Drive Thru. If not, it is a walk up window type of restaurant and they do have outside "picnic" style tables.
Reasonable prices, solid food. Tastes just like the other fish and chips place that rhymes with “Feets” except maybe a little better. It was exactly what I was looking for.
