Beef shawarma wrap was terrible. Meat was precooked and reheated in a pan with water and so tough, chewy and terribly seasoned made the wrap inedible. The wrap may have been rolled out fresh but the contents tanked any benefit a fresh wrap. Fries were ok though with the garlic sauce.
For starters the restaurant is very dirty. Poor atmosphere and poorly maintained. The tables are never wiped. Secondly, it took them 40 minutes to make my shawarma wrap. They had no shred of empathy or compassion; just told me to sit down and wait. Thirdly, the shawarma chicken was made on a grill, not a spit. That ruins the whole basis of shawarma chicken. They’re also really stingy with how much chicken and sauce they put. Prices are outrageous too for this ridiculous quality. If you can avoid DO NOT GO HERE
I have been coming to Pita N More for the last four years, throughout my time at McMasterU as a undergrad student and have always had a great rapport with Noori. He has greeted me on every visit with a smile, and asking me how my studies are going. Phenomenal character, his customer service alone has been bringing me back here every time. Not to mention, the chicken on the rocks will kick your tongue out. I highly recommend this spot to any passersby, this is one of the best shawarma spots around, and I'm from Scarborough, which says alot!
